Save JXN Podcast (Ep 64) W/ Josh Gilmer- Owner Of "The Pet Shop Of Fondren". Josh is a very interesting guy with a lot going on, from growing up in a military family to running The Pet Shop & being a licensed barber. I met Josh at a cookout last week and instantly knew he would be the pefect guest to for the Save JXN Podcast.  My internet stalker chimed in and got roasted so it was a great 3 hour long interview.

Steve Blaze from legendary southern hard rock band Lillian Axe joined me tonight for episode #63 of the #SaveJXN podcast. Lillian Axe is playing the HUGE Sunday Summer RockFest w/Lillian Axe, Enuff ‘Z Nuff & Faster Pussycat @ Hal & Mals on July 18th. I talked to Steve about their rich history in Jackson, Mississippi and even told him the stories of how well he treated me the few times I met him when I was a pre-teen and he was all over MTV back in the day. He told us about shopping at the Metrocenter and even talked about one of the jackets he wore a jackson from the wig store in the metro in one of their hit videos (Dream Of A Lifetime). We also dove into politics & much, much more.

I SAT DOWN FOR A LONG FORM INTERVIEW / CONVERSATION ON FACEBOOK LIVE W/ STACEY KIRCHSTEN (MOTHER OF SLAIN TWIN PEAKS WAITRESS CHELSIE KIRSCHTEN BACK ON JULY 26TH, 2020

Chelsie was a young (23 year old) beautiful women who was murdered in downtown Jackson, Mississippi on Thursday August 17th 2017. She had just left a local bar (never actually went inside) and was sitting at the a redlight in her car at the intersection of State st. & fortification st. with a friend at around 11:48pm. At this time 3 men (Nicholaus Coates / Ladarious Dixon / Jushun Paige) pulled up behind her, at that point either Dixon or Paige got out of their vehicle and shot into the drivers side window of her white Pontiac G-6. Chelsie was shot in the upper left torso, she passed away in her car shortly after. I'll attatch some links to news stories below here so anyone not familiar with the story can get upto speed (or just watch the whole video). This is a story will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions, Im not a profession interviewer or anything like that nor do I claim to be. Stacey approached me after a video I did in anger about the plea deal the 2 shooters recieved where they only got 5 years with time served for their part in the murder, meanwhile the driver who testifed against them got 40 years with 10 suspended and will serve all 30 years day for day.
