Dear Father, it’s busy in my life. Crowds are everywhere. My heart is busy, too many gifts, not enough money, not enough time. This month is supposed to be about you. But even at church I feel more busy than thankful for Christ. There are people to see, events to attend. All of this is supposed to be about Jesus, but it feels more like it’s all about me.

How do we experience God's grace moment by moment?

Do you believe God is a generous king? Over and over, the Bible tells us God is the giver of every good gift. This message focuses on God's gracious nature and encourages us to trust him and imitate him.

Daniel 6

In Daniel 6 we see that Daniel trusted and obeyed God and God was faithful to deliver him from ferocious lions. We too should trust and obey God for he is always faithful to us.

Do you stay on top of your spiritual situations, or are you busy distracting yourself with pleasure? Be watchful and stay spiritually alert!

The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace illustrates the Bible's teaching that every disciple of Jesus will be persecuted in one way or another, yet God is faithful to never leave nor forsake us.
