In this week's Men With Heart Podcast, I interview Christopher Yucho from Saving Grace. Saving Grace is a non profit organization in Central Oregon that supports survivors of domestic violence. We discuss how patriarchal systems are set up to keep men in a position of entitlement and power-over. Chris shares how the root of aggressive, violent and controlling behaviors is actually a deep hurt. One big issue Chris talks about is how we all want to be heard and how much pain guys are really experiencing. Men talking to other Men and being vulnerable with other Men will help heal the issue of gender-based violence. It's up to us to take responsibility.
