Today, I turned 70, a number I did expect to reach in as good health as I am. In this episode, I reflect on the events that marked the world during this journey. Hard to believe so much has occurred since 1950.

The Georgia Runoff election next month is critical to both sides. If Loeffler and/or Perdue win, then McConnell holds the power in the Senate. If they lose and Warnock and Ossoff are in, they the Democrats are in control. This podcast looks at this crucial election.

Simply put, the president lost. In the midst of a worldwide pandemic, his failure to lead cost him his job. Good riddance. Unfortunately, he does not have the grace to let it go and it continues to damage our democracy. Even putting the lives of those in states he lost in danger from his minions.

FDR was elected and began his administration as we were in a Great Depression. Through his calm but decisive leadership we successfully not only got out of it but won a war that we were not prepared to wage. This podcast includes his words of 79 years ago today to Congress. But it also compares him with the failed leadership of the current WH occupant.

At 7AM, Hawaii time, 79 years ago today, forces of Imperial Japan attacked American forces based in Hawaii. Over 2000 members died with hundreds more suffering horrible wounds and burns. Most of the capital ships of the Navy were sunk or severely damaged with the worst being the USS Arizona where to this day over a thousand of its crew lay interred in its sunken hull. This was an unannounced act of war that ended setting off the nuclear age......

After watching the debate, I decided I needed to tape an unscripted podcast about the performance of Kelly Loeffler. After watching all of her ads and this performance, I cringe at the thought she represents our state of Georgia

Since he became a candidate, DJT has advocated or encouraged action against those who disagree with him, from protestors at rallies getting beat up to firing Christopher Krebs because of his comments about the security of the election. Makes me angry and frustrated especially as we are having a huge surge and not even seeing the Thanksgiving rush yet.....

We are entering the time when infections because of Thanksgiving actions will appear followed by hospitalizations and deaths. The numbers are already taxing the health care system.
