In this episode, Sherry Manning, the Founder and Co-Executive Director of Global Seed Savers, lends us powerful perspectives on seed sovereignty.
Sherry enlightens us with issues that revolve around our ability to replant seeds time and time again and to allow the seed nature to give life, sustain life and regenerate life on earth.
She also shares how a group of seed savers in the Northern part of the Philippines has been able to rebuild their farms after a typhoon through the seed library that they have built together over the years. The same group of seed savers have been able to supply food in Metro Manila when streams of food supply had been cut off due to the lockdown situation in 2020.
