We decided to launch our new channel fully dedicated to our Saving the World Together initiative with an interview with the winner of the first official STWT Essay Contest for 2022 - Nela Kedziorova from the Czech Republic. The overall theme of the essay contest was "How Would You Save The World?".
Her essay, called The Necessity, is about the importance of world peace. The level at which this topic gets discussed in the mainstream media is often quite naive or trivial, just think of beauty pageant contestants, but that's most certainly not the case here. Nela outlines various obstacles to achieving world peace and suggest how to overcome them, but, more importantly, she also thinks about what world peace really is and what it should look like in practice. In the video, we discuss with Nela various concepts that she introduced in the essay.
If you're interested in reading the whole essay, you can do so at:

The winner of the contest gets 250 CAD, the runner up gets 100 CAD, and all honorable mentions selected by the judges (which are worthy of publication on the project's website) get 50 CAD.
