As Chapter 1 of Barrier Cities comes to a close we are going to be taking a break from our main story to present to you our Summer of One Shots! These are games played across various TTRPG systems. We hope you enjoy them!

By the end, the heroes find themselves hunted, outnumbered, and running out of places to hide. The explosive Chapter 1 finale changes everything and leaves the future of Saving Throw Society hanging in the balance.

This week on Saving Throw Society, the episode begins with a look into the difficult journey between worlds and the systems created to decide who belongs. A story from the past follows a newcomer’s first days in New Orleans, where one disastrous public moment unexpectedly opens the door to a new future.

In the present, the fallout of recent events pushes powerful leaders to gather and prepare for the growing threat ahead. Unexpected appointments leave old powers unsettled and raise questions about what comes next.
