We tell stories about buying our first home together in Waterloo, Ontario while attending Laurier University, the difficulties of being young women in the real estate investing world, how we hustled to earn money for a down payment, and whether or not it is still possible today for young people to become home owners.   Although we both worked very hard to achieve what we have achieved in our lives, we recognize that being white, coming from an entrepreneurial, supportive, middle/upper class family, and living in Canada, gives us more privilege than we can even understand.
