In ‘Made in SG’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Cheryl Tan, founder of KAIJUU Fibers, an independent hand-dyed summer yarn and fibre studio from Singapore. Tan describes how she hand-dyes Italian-made woollen yarn from scratch, which colours she chooses and how she takes bespoke orders from customers. She’ll also discuss why more customers are beginning to prefer hand-dyed yarn to mass-produced coloured ones. Tan will also talk about her occasional popup stalls and how couples can use her services at their wedding receptions.
