I’m not going to just sit back and allow this state and a POS superintendent threaten me into someone I WILL NEVER BE. I will never be that person everyone says I should be. What is the point of changing anything about ME when it’s not ME who has repeatedly failed children and parents in this state. It wasn’t ME that helped a sitting governor run GNETS where they practiced mental health experiments on non verbal kids.

This was the opening to the second day of the 7th annual Reading League Conference. We were delighted to be the first parents to have their own panel at this conference. We want to make sure that parents have a seat at all the tables where decisions are being made for our struggling readers. Dyslexia is more than reading. So much more. In this clip I describe how I got here and why.

This was an outreach event that myself and my son’s psychologist did in March of 2020. We wanted to share with others that a Dyslexia diagnosis was far more than just learning to read.
