Saka Dawa is the Tibetan Buddhist month of observance, commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and passing of the Buddha. SBT celebrates Saka Dawa throughout the month of June, with a strong emphasis placed on the last week. It culminates in the actual day of Saka Dawa celebrated on the final Sunday of June. SBT celebrates this day within our “Day of Observance Online Retreat”.
