"You have to get a contract" 

That is something that is commonly heard in the Washington Metro area, because we are surrounded by the Federal Government.  However, the number of people that actually are successful in winning or pursuing contracts is low, especially among minority owned companies.

Dorice Kenely is a seasoned vet in the contracting industry of over 18 years, and has founded her own company Kenely Consultants.  She single-handedly is responsible for winning multi-million dollar contracts for many businesses.
