Your favorite weird podcast returns for season 2! The first episode features the bad boys of England, some truly spoiled brats! Burnin' through the money like it's 2008! Dave starts off with the artistic and flamboyant no-sexual Henry Cyril Paget. Tony strongly follows up with pet lover and terrible driver John "Mad Jack" Mytton. Catch it now! Okurrrrr?
Well, we finally arrived at the season finale episode! Will be ranking the contenders on the following scale:
1. A Florida Connection
2. A Profit Motive
3. An Expanded View of Self
4. Killing Others
5. Religious Angle
6. Unusual Viewpoint
7. Relationship with an Animal or Inanimate Object
8. Relationship with the dead
9. Mind Control
10. Bonus Points (we have 10 to spread among the contenders)
The CONTENDERS:
Episode 1: Diogenes & Griffith Griffith
Episode 2: Leroy Jenkins & Henry VIII
Episode 3: Carl Tanzler & Dr. Nakamats
Episode 4: Margaret Howe Lovatt & Carolyn Prodgers
Episode 5: Tarrare & Caligula
I wouldn't eat while you listen to this one! Dave is first up with a strong contender for any hot dog eating contest. Just because he is from France, don't believe that we are courting our French listeners. Tony rounds out the episode with everyone's hero from the Roman Empire. This should be a strong one and these two could be contenders for the weirdest of the season.
As prophesied by last episode, the fellas delve into the strangeness of the ladies. Well, not all ladies, just a couple of them. This episode has Dave talking about a diva of the sea who makes connections previously unknown to man nor fish. Meanwhile Tony talks about an unsatisfied Uber rider from the past. Hilarity ensues.
This episode takes its normal strange turn with two individuals that show extreme dedication. In one corner we have Carl Tanzler who show his love for his beloved Helen in some astonishing ways. And we move across the pond to Japan to meet Dr. Nakamats who will probably outlive all of us and invent more things than we all need. Join the weirdos on our most recent excursion to craytown.
Another whackadoodle episode from your favorite podcast friends! This episode covers two "religious" leaders. One from deep in the heart of the midwest, Leroy Jenkins (not that one). The other from ye olde England - Henry VIII and his merry band o' wives. You'll learn important things about Tony's speech patterns and Dave's gout. Who will win this dyna-contest?
Our first episode takes place under shelter in place. Tony and Dave talk about their COVID-19 nutrition and exercise plans (or lack thereof). The two weirdos this week are Griffith Griffiths, the patron of Griffith Park and the Hollywood sign. Dave introduces the progenitor of Cynicism, Diogenes. Who will win? WHO WILL WIN? We'll see on the first episode of Scale of Weird People.
