May lived and worked in the UK for 10 years and started her career in the UK with a Global US Direct Sales Company before returning home to Malaysia at the end of 2010. She joined Michael Page Malaysia in 2011 as an Associate Consultant and was part of the pioneer start-up team. She started recruiting for Sales and Marketing professionals across the Services and FMCG sector before taking over the team as Manager. May grew and expanded the Sales and Marketing function to be one of the leading recruitment experts in Malaysia. Since then May has been promoted from Associate Consultant, Consultant, Senior Consultant, Associate Director and became one of the first homegrown local Director with responsibilities across the Sales, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Human Resource, and Finance disciplines. May is an extremely passionate recruiter who has a successful track record in placing CEOs, Sales and Marketing Directors, General Manager, Country Managers, and CHRO into esteemed organizations across multi-markets. Beyond recruitment she invests a lot of her time consulting her clients on recruitment and retention strategies, giving sound career advice to her candidates and developing people in her own team.
