Janice is a former lawyer turned strategic HR professional currently based in Hong Kong. She started her career in one of the largest law firms in Malaysia and went on to pursue an MBA at the Asia School of Business in collaboration with MIT Sloan. Spurred by her aspiration to help companies build capacity to achieve a sustainable advantage through people process excellence, Janice pivoted her career from Law to HR after the MBA. In her current role, she supports the Chief HR Officer on Global HR strategic projects with a focus on policy and governance.

Mathura Kannan is the 25-year-old Junior Director of Simply Empowering that provides the services of Outsourced Accounting, Business Advisory & Secretarial Services. She also now guides teenagers & young adults in their personal finance management via her year-long coaching program as well as her workshops. Despite pursuing a career in the finance world, Mathura is also co-founded the Malaysian Social Enterprise Ascendance in 2015, served as a CEO from 2017 to 2020 and now currently serves as an Advisor for the organization. She has received the Diana Award in 2019 for her contributions in humanitarian & social works as a youth as well as being awarded as Top 10 Student Key Opinion Leader in Monstar Awards in 2019. Mallory Loone is currently the co-founder and Creator of Opportunities of Work Inspires, a people engagement and development company, who has worked with many Fortune 500 companies, both locally and abroad. Her knowledge and experiences in the people development scene have earned her the recognition of Malaysia’s Most Talented Coach, 2019 and Top 100 Global Training & Development Coach of the Year, 2017 by the World HRD Congress. She started recruiting for Sales and Marketing professionals across the Services and FMCG sector before taking over the team as Manager. May grew and expanded the Sales and Marketing function to be one of the leading recruitment experts in Malaysia. Since then May has been promoted from Associate Consultant, Consultant, Senior Consultant, Associate Director and became one of the first homegrown local Director with responsibilities across the Sales, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Human Resource, and Finance disciplines. May is an extremely passionate recruiter who has a successful track record in placing CEOs, Sales and Marketing Directors, General Manager, Country Managers, and CHRO into esteemed organizations across multi-markets. Dr. Joel Low is a Clinical Psychologist and Director at The Mind Psychological Services & Training, specializing in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and he works with a wide range of clients.
