Mining magnate Gina Rinehart has called on Facebook and parent company Meta to do more in combating scam adverts using images and AI generated images of Australia’s richest and prominent people.

Rinehart's company are battling against the scammers, but Hancok Prospecting Group Head AI and Special Projects Andrew Reid said his team are struggling to keep up with the increased amount of scams.
