A major scandal is unfolding in Desoto County Schools after a board member and teachers came to the defense of a former youth pastor who plead guilty to sexual battery of a minor. Lindsey Whiteside was sentenced to three years of house arrest. District Attorney Matthew Barton is enraged. He wanted her put away for 30 years. A vice principal, teachers and church members wrote letters to the judge asking for leniency.
