Scarefest Radio with Wes Forsythe

In 2014 Sommer Jonez was asked to be in a paranormal documentary called "A Brush With Evil" filmed by Josh Heard. During the filming of that documentary she used a Ouija board. Everyone on the crew was terrified that she brought one to the investigation. This sparked her journey to create her own documentary titled "Yes No Goodbye" to find out why there is such a taboo around Ouija boards. She traveled the United States and met with Ouija experts i.e. Bob Murch and Calvin Von Crush of the Talking Board Historical Society and looked at other forms of spiritualism that have their own taboos i.e. Voodoo and Witchcraft. The project took the film team to Baltimore to learn of the birth of Ouija, to New Orleans to learn how Voodoo practitioners incorporate Ouija into their own work, and to the Bible Belt to work with a Coven of Witches to learn how they view Ouija. Along the way Sommer and her team met some amazing people i.e. Psychic Medium Chip Coffey, Ouija Expert Bob Murch, Voodoo Expert Bloody Mary and Warlock Christian Day to help find out if Ouija boards really work or not.

Spiritual warfare is the Christian concept of taking a stand against preternatural evil forces. It is based on the belief in evil spirits which are able to intervene in human affairs. Various Christian groups have adopted practices to repel such forces, as based on their doctrine of Christian demonology.
