Episode 164 begins our discussion on one of the most influential science fiction films, the original Planet of the Apes. Originally released in 1968, this film was co-written by Twilight Zone master Rod Serling from a previous work, but it packs a punch and it still does. Science fiction has the tendency to look at society through the lens of the genre's best written movies, this movie certainly lives up to that.
