Trigger warning: domestic violence/abuse

Our scars are proof that we endured and survived. We should be proud of the struggles that helped make us who we are today and proudly wear our scars. They are signs that we have healed from something that could have destroyed us. This is a poem I wrote about my experience with domestic violence and my escape and survival from that relationship.
