This month Greg and Karen are featuring movies involving wolves. For our first entry, Karen has selected the Universal film “The Wolf Man”, from 1941. Greg and Karen discuss the film while drinking a Tequila Moonrise which Karen found in her True Blood Cookbook. We hope that you enjoy it.
• 1 1/2 oz tequila
• 1 1/2 oz Ruby Mixer (recipe below)
• 3/4 oz grenadine
• Orange slice and maraschino cherry for garnish
Pour the tequila in a highball glass with ice and top with the Ruby MixerAdd the grenadine by tilting the glass and pouring it down the side of the glass by flipping the bottle vertically very quicklyGarnish with the orange slice and cherry• 4 oz carbonated orange soda (such as Orangina or San Pellegrino Aranciata)
• 1 1/2 oz grenadine
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Combine the orange soda, grenadine, and lemon juice in a pitcherStir to blend before usingA Brief Synopsis: Lon Chaney Jr. stars in this horror masterpiece, featuring elaborate settings and a chilling score about a man who is attacked by a werewolf and then becomes one himself at each full moon.
