Moses and Aaron ask Pharaoh to let the Israelites go to worship God in the wilderness. Pharaoh dismisses them, asking, "Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go?" His question illustrates the defiance Pharaoh had for the Sovereign, and unfortunately one that can be seen in society today.
