Quarterfinals: the reckoning, the brackets, three different champions; We picked the same four winners. Then it got personal.
The group-stage reckoning is in: Samuel 35/48, Adeola 29/48, Dara 28/48 ; theloudest voice finished last. We recap a knockout round that gave us Norway overBrazil, then take the four quarterfinals apart: France–Morocco (and the penalty theories), Spain–Belgium, Norway–England (the Quansah problem), Argentina–Switzerland. Then we lock our full brackets on the record ; same four QFwinners, three different champions. Someone switches allegiance live on air.
Corrections & Additions
Ayo said Brad Pitt was in Scientology — not quite. That’s Tom Cruise. Brad did date Juliette Lewis (a Scientologist) in the ’90s, but never joined the church.
Dara mentioned Jim Jones moved his followers to Panama — the actual country was Guyana, where Jonestown was built and over 900 people died.
Also, the test the Nigerian and the Brit took? It was EF SET, not IELTS. And the grade isn’t “A+” — it’s C2, the top tier of the CEFR scale.
Thanks for sticking with us while we clean up the facts and keep the vibes right.
