Apple TV Plus Original Series, Swagger was an elegant break from my daily dosage of pulp fiction and slasher titles. The performances were top-notch, and the feel is realistic. I am a big fan of sports fiction like Rocky, Remember The Titans, and more, but Swagger holds its own. Showrunner Reggie Rock Bythewood with his team, does an excellent job of telling a meaningful tale of humanity, friendship, and standing for each other, making us think or rethink our lives.

The second trailer of “The 355” is full of action. Also, expect a mix of everything that can possibly entertain a viewer. That, at times, leads to a less than tight storyline. But hey, who am I to judge even before the movie has been released.

Midnight Mass premiered on Netflix on September 24, 2021. But, not being the one to force me into watching something for the sake of writing, I took my time. Though I love thrillers, I never had an appetite for the horror genre. So I took more than the usual time but finally got there. And I am glad I did. Midnight Mass is a 7-episode fiction series, which I watched in 2 days. The entire story takes place on a fictitious location called Crockett Island, with just a population of 127. It involves a supernatural creature, miraculous and horrifying events, but still makes more sense than anything I have seen recently.

Netflix's COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka "cowboys," all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system's most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.

Charlize Theron as Lorraine Broughton in Atomic Blonde is as impressive as it can get. The attractive 177 cm tall actress portrays the character brilliantly. And no, it's not just her height and drop-dead good looks that contribute to her personage. Theron backs it up with her proven acting skills and brilliantly performed action scenes.
If you haven't seen Atomic Blonde yet, then trust me, Ms. Theron, if not more, is as incredible as her counterpart, Daniel Craig as 007 James Bond. But, of course, the 46-year-old Charlize Theron has more than Atomic Blonde to her credit. She is known for her roles in The Devil's Advocate, The Cider House Rules, and Monster.
