It was so great hearing Brandi on the airwaves again! She shares the story of her recovery leading to the August 9th fundraiser at Pho Cao, benefiting Crossroads and Bright Focus charities. Then we have Daphne and the Glitches live in the studio performing! 

Brandi chose some local music that is very special to her, including Haley Green, Harper and the Moths, and Scorpion vs. Tarantula!

Happy to have Psyko Steve back in the studio to talk about this awesome indie scene in Phoenix! We get some background on how he began this journey in promotions and eventually ownership of The Rebel Lounge, and also all about the Independents Bowl happening on July 7th! This is a fundraiser benefiting Local First AZ, but it has other benefits as well if you are a local musician or business.

Such a fun time being silly with these guys! Wade Cota is the lead singer of the band SugarWater, and also came in 4th on this past season of American Idol. We go back to how Tupac inspired Wade to write, why fronting a metal band wasn't for him, and how SugarWater came to be.

Of course I ask about the Idol experience, the good, bad, and what was up with the music choices. Then we talk about the big show on June 28th at Marquee theater, and what they are working on in the studio currently. 

I only give a tease of both the Wyves track and the new track from SugarWater, I want you to go and check out both of these bands (Spotify, KWSS, live, etc), but I do let you hear the AustnAmeliA track "Brand New" which features Wade in its entirety at the end.
