we're back after the holidays with a bunch of dumb stuff that's happened in the scene including our 2024 scene predictions which were all contributed by listeners of the podcast, mainstream media learning that bands like green day and rage against the machine have meanings to their songs, metalcore wonderwall and the reintroduction of tacobellcore.

last one of the year! we talk about alternative fandoms and their recent cult-like behaviour that at times put their own idols in jeopardy, the claim that the moshing is cancelled and music is dying according to an out of touch old head on youtube, a pro-nazi merch site's customer database being compromised and released to the public and lastly a christmas message from greg and sofia to close out the year and when we'll be back.

in this one we avoided the outbreak fest 2024 lineup until we recorded this episode so we could do a blind reveal & react to the lineup, we spoke about wish list bands for the fest, the all time low ticket scam, tour bands hired as diversity hires, sanction's reunion show and tour and the dillinger escape plan getting back together for two shows.

in episode 8 we talk about everyone's favourite moshing account getting banned for inciting violence against furries, power trip's secret set with seth of fugitive, the possibility of have heart making a comeback, next year's fest lineups and how insanely stacked they are and how the concept of DIY is being used as a marketing term as opposed to being represented as a culture with ethics.

in this episode we talk about the hayley williams of paramore's dyke pass, iconic band merch that had a death grip on the scene such as the basement back print hoody, fans discovering they aren't entitled to the band's time outside of the show they bought a ticket for and the bird app drama around how no one should take moshing photos and if you do people reserve the right to break the photographer's camera.

in this one we cover the scene queen character break that occurred on the bird app where men were called misogynists for not liking her music, rotting out's unintentional backyard karaoke set, mindforce calling out kids for only moshing on stage where the cameras are and promoters hiring moshers for their shows.
