The title pretty much sums it up. Ya boys have been sick and doing interviews. So Today we just kind of shoot the shit and talk about some of the new tracks that came out.

HUGE! Oh sleeper was one of those bands that got me into metalcore back in middle school. Today I got to sit down with Shane and talk everything Oh Sleeper and Wovenwar. We get into the topics of Religion in music, crazy tour stories, the chemistry with him and Micah and the creative lyrical writing between the two of them. Plus MUCH more.

Today we crack open the case of the metal member that tried to turn his bandmate into a girl so he could steal his partner....yes... you read that right. We go over some new songs and play a little game.

Oh boy. After tech difficulties last week, the lab is once again struck by unfortunate events. But don't worry. At around the 7:30 minute mark we sound good and crisp again. We talk about the new music that came out as well as dive into old rock music that changed the game. Plus much MUCH more.

For the second episode the SceneLabs Album Series, I decided to travel to the softer side of my music taste. My wife and I dive into one of our favorite albums of all time - OK ORCHESTRA by AJR. This album opened up a new world of music and creativity to us both. We get into the artistic choices and live production that truly set this album apart from normal radio pop, as well as how well we think AJR is able to encapsule mental health into a safe and effective dialogue through their music. ENJOY!
