In this episode, I sit down with Thejas Nalval, Co-Founder and CIO of Parataxis Capital.
After nearly a decade at Goldman Sachs, Thejas made the jump into crypto and ultimately launched Parataxis in 2020. Since then, he has managed the firm’s flagship fund across multiple cycles while building out a range of strategies for investors with very different risk and return mandates.
What I find particularly interesting about Thejas is that he doesn’t subscribe to any one way of making money in crypto. His view is that markets evolve so quickly that a strategy generating alpha today can be obsolete 18 months from now. The job is to continually find new pockets of opportunity and know when to dial risk up or down.
With markets heating up again, I was excited to get him on the show. We cover everything from outperforming Bitcoin and generating repeatable alpha to forced sellers, Hyperliquid, tokenization, and where Bitcoin fits in a portfolio today.
Let’s get into it.
