Walmart has suspended all job offers to candidates whose employment with the chain would require a $100,000 fee for H-1B visas under rules implemented last month by the Trump administration.

With 2,390 H-1B visa holders in its employ, Walmart would have had to shell out nearly $240 million had it hired those foreign workers under the new rules.

“Walmart is committed to hiring and investing in the best talent to serve our customers, while remaining thoughtful about our H-1B hiring approach,” a Walmart spokeswoman said, per Bloomberg.

Trump signs trade, critical mineral agreements with Asian countries

Trump arrived in Malaysia, where he is attending the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and oversaw a peace agreement signing between Cambodia and Thailand. Following that signing, Trump inked trade agreements with Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia.

President Trump on Sunday signed a flurry of trade agreements and deals outlining cooperation on critical minerals with key Asian partners as he kicked off his trip to Asia.

In addition to the trade deals, the U.S. signed agreements with all three countries outlining cooperation on the processing and exports of critical minerals, which are used in electronics and day-to-day products. Access to critical minerals has re-entered the spotlight after China earlier this month said it was tightening control on exports of the materials.

As part of the agreements, the U.S. would leave in place a 19 percent tariff on imports from all three countries. Cambodia said it would drop tariff barriers on all U.S. goods, while a memorandum of understanding with Thailand said the country would eliminate tariff barriers on 99 percent of American products.

The Department of Homeland Security has referred Illinois State Rep. Margaret Croke to the Department of Justice for prosecution over her reckless doxxing of ICE agents.

Croke’s email, which was exposed by the popular X account Libs of TikTok, listed detailed vehicle descriptions, colors, and partial license plate numbers of cars allegedly belonging to ICE officers operating in Chicago neighborhoods.

The flyer urged recipients to spy on and report suspicious vehicles, while providing hotlines and resources to connect illegals with lawyers and social services, essentially aiding and abetting criminals to evade justice. Virginia Prosecutor Beth Yusi Was Fired for Sending Letitia James Investigative File to Her Personal Email, Likely to Facilitate Media Leak

According to documents the Dept of Justice fired Virginia prosecutor Beth Yusi for sending the unauthorized case file, against New York Attorney General Letitia James, to her personal email account.

Apparently, the transfer of files is the process used by DOJ Lawfare operatives to leak information to the media. Beth Yusi (pictured left) was fired for doing it, and shockingly CNN has the receipts.

(VIA CNN) – The Virginia federal prosecutor who resisted bringing mortgage fraud charges against New York Attorney General Letitia James sent investigative files with James’ personally identifying information to her own private email account, according an email reviewed by CNN.

The prosecutor, Beth Yusi, was dismissed earlier this month at least in part because of the mishandling of the personal information, people familiar with her termination said.

Yusi’s attorney Margaret Donovan told CNN that the former prosecutor “has no record of any such email” and “has never used her personal email account for any portion of any investigation. (read more)

DOJ to Send Election Monitors to California, New Jersey Next Month After GOP Requests

The Department of Justice is preparing to send federal election observers to California and New Jersey next month, targeting two Democrat states holding off-year elections following requests from state Republican parties.

The DOJ will announce Friday that it is planning to monitor polling sites in Passaic County, New Jersey, and five counties in southern and central California: Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Riverside, and Fresno. The goal, according to the DOJ, is “to ensure transparency, ballot security, and compliance with federal law.”

“Transparency at the polls translates into faith in the electoral process, and this Department of Justice is committed to upholding the highest standards of election integrity,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement to The Associated Press.

Election monitoring is a routine function of the Justice Department, but the focus on California and New Jersey comes as both states are set to hold closely-watched elections with national consequences on Nov. 4.

Trump To Overhaul Presidential Bunker During White House Renovation

Trump is temporarily demolishing the White House’s East Wing — which his administration eventually plans to rebuild and modernize — to construct The White House State Ballroom. The East Wing was significantly expanded during World War II, mainly to conceal the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), an underground bunker.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a Thursday press briefing that there will be security enhancements made regarding the bunker. Anonymous sources confirmed to CBS News senior White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs that the PEOC will be upgraded during the renovation and the White House Military Office will handle the undertaking, Jacobs wrote on X Wednesday.

Trump has said the U.S. military is “deeply involved” in the ongoing work, though the White House has not specified what role defense personnel are playing.

A 2020 Military Times account described the bunker under the East Wing as a Cold War-era structure built to “withstand a direct nuclear hit,” accessible only by elevator behind multiple vault doors with biometric access controls. The White House at the time said the exact specifications of the facility were “classified.”

The Treasury Department recently instructed its employees not to take or share photographs of the East Wing demolition, citing potential exposure of “sensitive items, including security features or confidential structural details,” according to the Wall Street Journal. The directive followed viral social media posts showing heavy construction equipment tearing into the building.

It is a huge hole in one of the world’s most famous gardens – but nobody knows what it is for.

Workmen have torn up an enormous section of the lawn in front of the White House for a mysterious, top secret project.

The hole by the West Wing is roughly 100ft by 100ft in size and has for the first time in living memory left the ground and pipes beneath the Oval office exposed to the elements.

What’s going in the hole? The massive 100ft by 100ft cavern has been opened up by the West Wing for a top secret project

Official explanations have ranged from an update of the air conditioning system to something ‘security’ related.

But that has not stopped speculation that the President is installing something else entirely – from a swimming pool to a spa.

Others have guessed it could be an expansion of the presidential bunker, which was originally built in the time of Franklin D Roosevelt.

What is known is that every day for the past 17 months workmen have come and gone with nobody revealing what the project it.

The funds were allocated after 9/11 and apparently it will eventually link up with the Presidential Operations Centre.

The White House already has a number of tunnels — the exact number is, of course, classified.The most well known is the underground corridor that leads to the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC), a supposedly nuclear-proof bunker located six stories under the East Wing.It was to this bunker and its adjacent Executive Briefing Room that Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice, among others, directed Government operations on September 11, 2001.

A 50-yard tunnel leads from a concealed doorway in the Oval Office to the basement of the First Family’s residence in the East Wing.

The clandestine passage was built during Ronald Reagan’s presidency as a way to guard the President in a terrorist attack.
