This was a crazy week/weekend! In college football, Texas gets the upset win over A&M and immediately tries to campaign for a spot in the playoffs, Ohio State beats Michigan for the first time in four years, Indiana trounces Purdue, Miami kills Pitt, and the coaching carosel gets very...very REAL.

In college basketball, Michigan trounces Gonzaga, UCONN beats Illinois, and Houston falls to Auburn!

It was a crazy crazy weekend with college football finishing up the regular season and conference championship games and the post season starting up, and college basketball coming into full swing before in-conference play. What a time to be a college football and college basketball fan!!

If you are new, welcome, if you are returning welcome back! Here we look at college basketball and college football in a situational way, since a lot of the outcomes are driven because of the situation that the teams are put in.

Saturday marked the last weekend in college football where the SEC plays an FCS opponent in mid November, as they are moving to a 9-game schedule within their conference with 1 game against a power 4 opponent. Or should it really be called Power 3 since the ACC has been very incomparable to the other Power 4 conferences this year? Either way, it was a great weekend of football nonetheless that sets up for a great weekend after Thanksgiving! It is going to be like a grand finale with all of the chaos scenarios that could happen that could shake up what the post season looks like!!

In college basketball, there were some upset games with ranked opponents and Purdue has started to separate itself already as the number 1 team in the country. However, we are going to keep an extra close eye, as there is a curse that the preseason number one team gets eliminated early in the March Madness tournament at the end of the year. We will see if the Boilermakers have the same fate. Arizona also starting to show they are contenders with a big win against UCONN and Alabama also making noise with a string of ranked wins after losing to Purdue!

It is pretty much always a great day to be a college sports fan, and last week we learned that when even though a majority of the SEC teams were playing FCS schools, there is always enough chaos and craziness to go around for everyone!!

This past week we watched the SEC get flipped at the top, ACC top teams are finally emerging, Big Ten is starting to define their top 5, and the Big 12 has its top 2-3 teams solidified in the rankings in college football. In college basketball, teams at the top are staying there, while the bottom half of the top 25 battles to stay in the rankings.

Leading in to this week, there is a few critical games, not as many as the final weekend for college football, but these games will set them up. And college basketball is in the same spot, except it is not at the end of the season, but the nearing of the end of the beginning of the season where we move from out of conference to in conference. These games only get better and better!!

This weeks episode the talk is about College Basketball and College Football, since the College Basketball season is starting to get get going and College Football is at an all time high!

In college football, Indiana escapes a close game against Penn State with the toe-tapping catch heard round the world, the ACC is turning into a garbage bin, and Ohio State is the standard of college football (we have known that last one for a hot minute...). And so much more!!

In college basketball, Indiana puts 100 on Marquette, North Carolina wins the ultimate battle of the blue bloods, Louisville vs Kentucky is ramping up, and Michigan State beats Arkansas in a nail biter. And SO MUCH MORE!!

This weekend was crazy!! Only four undefeated teams remain, Texas might actually be back, Indiana and Ohio State look like the kings of college football right now, and the ACC and Big XII conference championship races are starting to tighten up! A lot to look forward to with the CFP Committee coming out with their rankings on Tuesday, we are going to see what the true picture is going to look like. How different will it be from the AP? Hopefully a lot, because the AP is starting to become one of my biggest ops!!!

WARNING!! This broadcast has a lot of negative speak on the AP Poll, because besides the top 4 teams are there, the AP did a pretty bad job in ranking the rest of the teams. Normally the AP isn't such a big deal, and it is becoming irrelevant. However, since the CFP Committees rankings often are influenced based on what the last AP Poll is before the first vote they have, it makes the poll important.

I also provide recaps and previews on games that have happened and will happen! Next week, I am going to have a guest, a fan from a now former Pac 12 school and current Big 12 school Arizona, and we are going to talk about the typical topics that are covered on the show, while also talking about how the integration of Arizona into the Big 12 Conference has been going and whether or not he prefers being in the Pac or the Big 12!

Welcome back! A lot of chaos last weekend in college football, there were competitive games but more surprises than most bargained for. We break it all down here, with special guest Joe Kloepfer, and we also of course poke fun at some of the AP voters. And while the AP Poll was better than it has been in past weeks this season, there were some of the most atrocious rankings from voters that we have ever seen!

On this weeks broadcast, we bring in Mark Mo from the Mark Mo Show as our first guest of the year! We talk about the AP Poll, games that happened during week 5 that were notable, previewed week 6, and introduced the newest segment of the show "Bop that Ballot", where we look at some of the rankings the AP voters shared and pick them apart.

You can look at individual rankings from AP voters when you look at the rankings and click on the drop down that says "all voters" and it will give you a list of names, the people who are the AP voters. When you click on the name, it shows you their individual ballot or rankings.
