Dr Jonathan Wroot is a Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at University of Greenwich and his research looks into Japanese cinema; transnational cinema. Jonathan's research has encompassed DVD special features; Japanese anime and processes of subtitling and dubbing; feature film adaptations of anime.

• We talked about a heart warming research project where Jon is working to preserve UK based Neo magazine that  covers east asian popular culture which has recently stopped publishing. How through creating partnerships, exhibitions and events this precious cultural resources can be kept alive and a source of knowledge for many, particularly our younger generation.

Eric Wong: Instagram
Eric is an Architect, illustrator, design tutor and Senior Lecturer in University of Greenwich.
He studied Art and Architecture at the Byam Shaw School of Art, Central Saint Martins. He completed his undergraduate degree at Cardiff University and later graduated with a masters from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.

Eric was nominated for the RIBA President's Silver Medal and is a recipient of the Bartlett School of Architecture Medal for outstanding academic achievements in professional performance, the Sir Banister Fletcher Medal for highest marks in Part 2 graduate studies and the Fitzroy Robinson Drawing Prize for best drawings in Part 2 graduate studies.

Adam Elliott-Cooper is a Research Associate at school of humanities in University of Greenwich. He received his PhD from the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, in 2016. He has previously worked as a researcher in the Department of Philosophy at UCL, as a teaching fellow in the Department of Sociology at the University of Warwick and as a research associate in the Department of Geography at King's College London.

In this addition I talked to Carlos Tanner who initiated The Ayahuasca Foundation in 2008. Carlos Tanner, an American and student of curanderismo. After living and studying with a curandero for over four years, Carlos worked to provide a safe and effective way for people to not only receive treatment in the healing tradition of the Amazon but also to study the tradition, the way he had with his maestro. The idea for the Ayahuasca Foundation was born from a desire to spread the science of plant medicine back into the world.
