This episode is special to me. I share on making reflections and gratitude as we close the year. And from my heart, I send encouragement to everyone who’s holding a prayer in her heart.

I mostly check in with you, and send shout out to my brother who’s getting married and prayers for the victims of the flood in Nigeria. Then I share from Exodus 13 and pray for you.

On God’s grace

Today, I’d like to speak to those who are going to be serving as Teaching Fellows for the first time as I officially open Season 3! And I bring you greetings from Lagos, Nigeria :)

On Faith, community and research. My good friend James graduated from Harvard in May. Here’s an episode I made with him in honour of his journey at Harvard and earning a PhD, and in the heart of friendship and fellowship. (Congratulations Dr Xue!)

Here I share something I was led to learn while I was having my prayer time with God. I hope it encourages you as it did me.

I leave a little message to all of you, my friends, as we prepare for the end of the academic year. And here’s a verse I’d like you to keep in your heart: “I pray that God will give to you all the things that you really want. He will help you to do everything that you want to do.”

2021 leaves tomorrow, I hope the new year ahead of us brings us many miracles, many joys, many opportunities to show kindness to others around us. And when these opportunities come, may we take them. I hope in the new year, we are unafraid of pausing when we should, of breathing, of learning again, of making reflections about the processes and standards we embrace. When we feel tired, I hope we rest. In the year ahead of us, I hope we stay close to our ‘why’ in all that we do, and that we stay attentive to the things that inspire us. If we must compete, may it not be in a way that takes away from our humanness. May our hearts be filled with compassion. May our minds be sharper. May our visions and dreams be clearer. May our speeches be lined with grace. May our actions be sincere. May our faith be stronger. And may the community around us, be one that inspires us to never stop choosing love and integrity everyday.
