We are called to "Seek first the Kingdom of God"...  What does it mean to be missional? The Five Marks of Mission, Tell, Teach, Treasure, Transform, Tend.  Stems from Discipleship "Doing the things of Jesus for reasons he does them".  

Mission is more than evangelism, words need to be backed by our walk -how we live our daily lives

Here I chat to my friend Adam. Adam is my daughters Godfather whom I have known since we were at theological college together. Adam talks about Mission in Ireland, their response to Covid19 and also shares something on global mission from his unique perspective as the Chair of the Church in Ireland's Council of Mission. Just over 10 minutes.

Our second Wednesday Night Webinar from the school of mission...   Someone shares a few thoughts, and some discussion (and then we turn the record off -so much better if you are there in person!- but here is our second session)  Tonight was me talking about why I believe we need something like the School of Mission....

Here we interview Andy Milne, author of DNA of Pioneer ministry (co-authored with Mike Moynagh), he works for the Archbishop of York leading the Missional Youth Churches Network and before this he was involved in planted Sorted youth Church in Bradford (which became a network of Churches).

Each week we want to have a chance for people to connect, have some ideas and a chance to chat and explore together something about mission in normal everyday life... Here is Andy Evers back by popular demand with a few thoughts and a bit of a chat afterwards... Although we were a small group, am excited that from this more growth and relationship with happen!!

It was great to chat to Emma about addiction and her work helping individuals and churches engage with addiction she has recently founded https://starrecovery.org/ and works in Poole/Bournemouth and Christchurch with https://www.therecoverycourse.com/

Imagine going out on mission, not knowing where you were going without money and all your stuff -a bit like Jesus sent out both the 12 (in Luke 9) or the 72 (in Luke 10) here Dave tells his story of going out with the guys from Fusion (a University Mission group) where four of them just got on a plane and trusted God for a weekend and trusted that he would used them, and he did, it's about 24 minutes but an amazing story, worth checking out.... We hope to do something similar to this but would be within the UK.

AJ is one of our 'founding members' at the School of Mission (www.schoolofmission.co.uk @schoolofmissio2) and here he is talking about his role as a youth worker in Bournemouth, especially doing detached youth work. He shares about the importance of relationships, 'small ins' and the importance of listening to individuals rather than 'stereotypes and strategy'.
