• Captain of most winningest team in program history (2011) during women's basketball dominant decade reign over the MAAC Conference.
• AP Rank 17th in nation, 2011
• #1 Ranked Mid-Major WBB in the Country, 2007-2011
• 4 MAAC Championships and 4 MAAC Regular Season Championships, 2007-2011
• 4 NCAA Tournament Appearances, 2 First Round Wins!
• 2007 Sweet 16 Appearance (Dubbed NCAA Women's Cinderella)
• Played professional basketball overseas at FIBA representing the country of Italy. Accumulated numerous accolades and accomplishments for 6 major club teams from 2012-2016.
• Earned Italian Regular Season Champion and Italian League Runner Up, GEAS Gas Lucca, Lucca, Italy, 2016.
• Competed in FIBA European Championships ranking 7th, 2015.
• Won A2 Championship and promoted to A1 Top League, GEAS Basket Club, Milan, Italy, 2015.
• Received EuroBasket Center of the Year and named Coconut Italian Cup Champions, 2015.
• Selected for role as sole A2 player in A1 BEKO Italian All-Star Game, OMC Cignoli Broni, Pavia, Italy, 2014.
• Achieved A2 Italian League Championship and promoted to top league, Virtus La Spezia, La Spezia, Italy, 2013.

Achieving Academic Success... Exclusive Interview with Alyssa Gates!

Alyssa Gates is currently:

• Director of Student-Athlete Enhancement Advisor For: Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Water Polo, Softball.
• In her position she oversees the Center for Student-Athlete Enhancement, including both Assistant Directors and the Academic Advisement Fellow. She is responsible for the academic monitoring and the continuing eligibility of approximately 600 student-athletes at Marist College.

• Pete went to Whitehall High School (PA).
• He was all time leading scorer at Whitehall High School. 
• He was a top 50 recruit in the country. He was invited to the Nike camp and played against Kevin  Garnett, Allen Iverson, and Stephon Marbury.
• He played college basketball at Penn State University and then played professional basketball overseas for over a decade. He was also 2x PA AP All State and was voted one of the top 150 PA scholastic players of all time.
