Today, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is expected to offer a legislative proposal that would extend an amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. No surprise there. That’s been the Democrats’ demand for years since it would translate in short order to additional votes for their party, and perhaps a permanent electoral majority. 

While that prospect should be sufficient grounds for Republicans – if not American patriots more generally – to reject the Schumer gambit, there’s another, powerful reason for doing so: Without secure borders, such amnesties typically prompt more aliens to come here illegally seeking similar treatment.

But that’s not just a theoretical possibility in this case.  It will certainly happen if the Schumer amendment were enacted since it explicitly extends the amnesty to so-called “DACA kids” who aren’t here yet, but arrive by the end of June!   

Senators: Just say “No.”
