S8 Ep 105 - Although "Art is Like Religion" is basically a filler episode, it has so many good moments that we don't even mind. From Capheus/Sun's first interaction to Lito's fake action sequence with the crazy director, Sense8 continues to surprise us and keep our adrenaline pumping.

Gojira/Godzilla (1954) - Although Gojira can feel dated at times, its thematic focus on the perils of atomic power and the destruction humanity brings upon itself still resonates today.

S8 Ep 104 - Maggie and Melissa decide that Sense8 is like that weird existential conversation you have with your roommate at 2 AM. It's deep, meaningful, but sometimes… it just makes no sense. Not a surprising conclusion- after all, the show isn't shy about its pro-drug stance.

STB Part 1 - Star Trek Beyond is the perfect film for this podcast, because the director, the co-writer, and numerous cast members are POC, which boldly sets Star Trek as a shining beacon of representation compared to most science fiction movies.

S8 Ep 101 - Maggie and Melissa kick off coverage of the Netflix original, Sense8, with the first episode, "Limbic Resonance." With the sheer amount of exposition, Sense8 is clearly playing the long game, but in a world that loves to binge watch, is it playing the too-long game?
