This week is the third and final I've Never Seen... film! What has Chris I've Never Seen...? Chris has I've Never Seen... Children of Men! Britain is under extreme lockdown after an apocalyptic breakdown in society... and things aren't going too well in the film, either.
Join us as we discuss bad acting, bad photoshop, bad Michael Caine, bad scripts in this critically acclaimed and frequent top 10 sci-fi film of all time contender...
Next week we are watching a far more believable future: It's Demolition Man!

I've Never Seen... season continues with Alex's pick! What has Alex never seen? Mad Max: Fury Road. Join us as we watch Charlize Theron (and Tom Hardy a bit) race across the desert, and then turn round and race back again. Also, Alex tells us about his David Bowie dream.
Next week Chris has never seen...Children of Men!

For the next three weeks we're each picking a 'big' sci-fi film that we've never seen, the catchily titled (and not at all stolen) I've Never Seen... season!
First up, Sam has never seen... Ex Machina, and it turns out neither have Alex or Chris. Join us as we get deep, dance a little, try and sort out the film's ending and talk about Blade Runner a bit, because Sam is hosting, so obviously.
Next week Alex has never seen... Mad Max: Fury Road, which is pretty crazy!

This week we find out what happens when you take two beloved sci-fi aliens and let them fight. Listen as Chris enjoys some architecture, Alex explains his patented Alien/Predator Ranking System™ and Sam really, really wishes he was watching something else.
Next week we begin our 'I've Never Seen...' series of films with Sam's pick. Turns out he's never seen... Ex Machina!

Alex had his birthday and got to pick any science fiction film to watch and he picked Universal Soldier because of course he did. Join us as we discuss Dolph Lundgren's scientific history, JCVD's acting chops and the absolute lack of anything compelling going on in this film. I mean it sounds harsh, but have you watched it recently?
Next week we delve into the murky world of cross-franchise mistakes with Alien vs. Predator!

Space Truckers is the 1997 sci-fi comedy that unbelievably none of us had seen. Dennis Hopper delivers a consignment of deadly aliens to Earth whilst Charles Dance wears some bad prosthetics. It's a colourful mess and not about pandemics or lockdowns and thus just the sort of escapism we need right now.
Next week we celebrate Alex's birthday with his choice of film Universal Soldier. Yep.

This week we get deep into conspiracy theories: Did man go to the moon? Did the makers of this film forget to write an ending? Why is Telly Savalas in everything? And, most imporantly, is Capricorn One Poppins masquerading as sci-fi? It's the episode that might not count, only it might, only it might not. Tune in to find out!
Next week things take a turn for the extremely '90s as we watch Dennis Hopper try his best in Space Truckers.
Also, here is Telly Savalas Looking at Birmingham.

Part two of our listener picks and it's Alex's turn to host with Saturn 3. A science fiction film starring Kirk Douglas, written by Martin Amis and with Harvey Keitel's face but not his voice, needless to say this is a pretty weird one. Join us as we try and find a motivation for any of the film's characters, wonder at how the film's antagonist cost so much to build, and battle our own gremlins as lockdown internet makes recording a bit of a nightmare. Sorry about that.
Next week, It's Capricorn One!

This week we watch the first of a trilogy of listener-picked films, one for each of us. First up is Redline, chosen for Sam because he's the most in to moaning on about Japanese animated stuff. Join us as we discuss this futuristic Wacky Races, get used to talking again after spending the week in lockdown and hear Alex's pitch for a remake which may be the best idea anyone has ever had on this podcast.
Next week it's a film specially picked for Alex: Saturn 3!

Another little bonus pod as Chris and Sam convene on a strange Thursday morning to come to terms with the immediate future through the medium of film. Join us as we definitively rank a bunch of apocalypses and reassure ourselves that our particular apocalypse could be a lot, lot, lot worse.
Oh, we also talk about Star Trek because as much things may change some things will always be the same.
Films discussed: The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008), Stalker, World War Z and Mad Max: Fury Road
