Melanie Le Bon works as an Advanced Data Fellowship Coach for Multiverse, an on-the-job learning platform that teaches in-demand tech, software engineering and data skills to transform careers. Mel did her PhD in Bioscience, and since transitioning to data science, has participated in a hackathon and volunteered for DataKind. When she's not doing data, Mel enjoys horse riding and training her 2 horses in dressage.

Roberta Evangelista is currently a Senior Digitalisation Specialist working at BASE, the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy where she focuses on DS for social good. Originally from Italy, she has lived in Germany, France, the US, and is now based in Zurich, Switzerland. Her academic background ranges from a bachelor’s in Mathematics to an MSc and PhD in Computational Neuroscience.

Giovanni De Cillis is currently a Senior Data Engineer for EdPlace, an e-learning platform for students’ home use. With a PhD in Quantum Optics and a background in teaching, he enjoys his career switch into data and now only teaches physics as a volunteer for Ukrainians in the UK. Jana Polednikova has over 8 years of data experience outside of academia and is currently Senior Product Owner at 4screen, the world's first driver interaction platform connecting businesses with customers, in real-time, directly through the car screen. With a PhD background in Astrophysics, Jana is a passionate data advocate, helping to build data cultures and opening the data world to non data professionals. In her spare time, she is an active mountaineer, volunteering as an organiser for trips to the Alps via the German alpine club, Alpenverein.
