September 15, 2023 Christie Grace - Long Covid Congress 2023-09 - With readable pdf slides
The Christie Grace presentation suffered from unreadable slides. I redid the slides (to dark, to save eyes), added subtitles, and a bit of video.
I included the references at the end.
This version should be shareable to people who will not read the .pdf.
I also have made a highly compressed .webm, with subtitles, that fits in 16MB and can be sent as an email attachment.
Unfortunately I do not currently have the ability to share optimized video here, as wtyl re-encodes my uploads to less efficient formats while also deleting the subtitles.

September 15, 2023Charles Rixey - Long Covid Congress - 2023 Sep - Fixed Audio/Video
The rumble, wtyl and streamyard resolution and quality of Rixey's presentation were unacceptable.
I performed a correction as follows:
downloaded the 6GB file of the congress from streamyard
extracted the audio to .wav
imported audio to Audacity
ran a FFT spectral analysis to get the frequency spectrum of the audio
applied an inverse spectrum of the audio to rixey's presentation to get a flat response
reran equalisation with a hand-tuned curve for acceptable frequency distribution
ran the audio through a volume limiter
downloaded Rixey's pdf presentation
converted the pdf slides to .png images at 300dpi
imported the presentation video, slides and corrected audio into shotcut and cropped Rixey's face to lower-right corner
exported the presentation to 1440p
ran the .wav file of the audio through whisper.cpp to get a raw transcript
corrected the defective output .srt to properly formatted subrib .srt format
ran through the video three times, correcting timing and text errors by hand.
compressed intermediate video to h264 with slideshow tuning. At 1440p the text is as readable as in the pdf.
