Returning from exile to go over some of the last weeks news with me is Tye Bourdony, who offers up his thoughts on the potential casting of Tom Hardy in the new Terminator film among other things.

Our interview this week is with actor Louis Lombardi, who has appeared in a fantastic collection and television shows and movies. Fans of science fiction and fantasy probably remember Louis for his roles in the remake of 'Fantasy Island' in which he played Cal or for his role of the very human and relatable Edgar Styles from season 4 and 5 of the hit Fox series '24'.

Louis touches on all these things in the interview, but also talks about his excitement for food and cooking. And even shares what he'll likely be serving up for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Since recording BBC America have announced the premier for the movie as 22 November. Just one day after the UK premier. We also discuss Steven Moffat's proclimation that 12th Doctor Who actor Peter Capaldi as being a national treasure.

Our guest this week is Gareth Kavanagh the director of the 'Who At 50' fringe festival, which is taking place in Manchester between the 16 and 30 November. Garath talks about all the exciting events being held to celebrate Doctor Who in Manchester and also talks a little about the recent recovery of 9 Patrick Troughton episodes as well as the casting of Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor.

Ever since we started SciFiPulseradio on Blocktalk Radio back in 2009 we have had two traditions. The Halloween Special, in which myself and a few others get drunk and discuss horror films and the Christmas Special, which is much the same only about Christmas.

Well you can't keep a good tradition down.

Joining me for our 2013 Halloween Special is our loyal friend and biggest supporter T. Shawn Hardy, who also does much of the sound editing for our shows. We are also joined by Shawn's wife Linda who comes up with some pretty inspired choices when choosing her top ten monsters.

And yes as if you haven't guessed already. The topic for discussion is our top ten favorite monsters from movies and television and given that there are three of us involved here. It may as well be a top 30.
