The compassion of Christ dictated His actions and the disciples learned they needed to trust Jesus.

Fear holds us back in many ways, especially in doing what God wants us to. But what grieves Jesus' heart the most is when fear causes a person to reject Christ.

We all know God works when faith is exercised.  But what happens when there is a lack of faith?

God is a God of Love, but that does not negate the coming separation and judgment.

As in the pearl of great price, the value of the Kingdom of God is priceless and must be personally acquired...but there is a cost.

Why should we allow the wheat and the "false wheat" grow together and who's responsibility is it to do the weeding?

In the parable of the sower, Jesus gives us the greatest responsibility...that of being sowers in the world and telling us what to expect.

Why did Jesus begin to use parables at this point in His ministry.  There were to both conceal and to reveal.

Jesus warns the people not to follow the religion of the Pharisees, but rather to turn to Him and be a part of His family.

The "resurrection" of Jonah from the fish points to the resurrection of Jesus as the final proof that Jesus is the Messiah and we need to turn to Him.
