In the shadow of the coming Thunderbird migration, Sir Nicholas and Jesse turn the castle into something new: a proving ground. As word spreads through the supernatural community, fighters, scions, and other strange beings gather for an impromptu tournament where the rules are simple—no killing, no knockouts, only surrender.
While Theophania Jones is roped into officiating this “responsibly managed chaos,” Jesse calls on his divine blood to bless the courtyard, turning the arena into a place where the very ground may refuse to stay the same from one bout to the next. With a frost giant challenge promised for the eventual champion and a dangerous fae duel hanging over the proceedings, the stage is set for a night where glory, grudges, and fate all collide under the desert sky.
About the Chronicle
The Valley of the Setting Sun is a Scion Second Edition chronicle set in modern-day Phoenix, where divine power sleeps just beneath the heat-hazed pavement. The campaign follows a band of Scions as they awaken to their true heritage, receive their Visitations, and step into a world woven with prophecy, danger, and the weight of mythic legacy.
