On today's podcast, I got to shoot the shit with another gem from the Ottawa Hardcore scene. Lance and I got to chat about being a firefighter while booking shows, what's the best Spiderman movie adaption, moving out west, and how a simple pair of nunchucks put his band on the hardcore map.

Rolling with the Facetime interviews, today's podcast features my good homie Jamie, host of the Jamie Orque Podcast. Jamie interviews a plethora of individuals in the hardcore community, and it felt good to finally get him on the show after him having me onto his podcast not only once, but two times. We talk about reaching to potential guests, the power of word of mouth in the hardcore scene, and why more people need to experience Disney Parks.

Staying at home is the sickest thing to do right now, and with that comes an excess amount of time for most. I've seen a plethora of people turning on their favourite hardcore sets to play throughout the day, and it inspired me to jump into the Scoped archive and highlight some of my personal favourites we've done over the years. On this podcast, we look at sets from bands like Terror, Swarm Beating, Cold Shoulder, and many more iconic Scoped sets paired with some director commentary from Spicy Spence. It's very apparent how Covid-19 is negatively affecting DIY music all around the world.
