Joe Ostrowski opened his abbreviated show by discussing Cubs reliever Craig Kimbrel's improving performance and the possible holes the Cubs need to fill. He then listened and reacted to sound from Cubs manager David Ross about Kimbrel's role moving forward. After that, Ostrowski shared his early impressions from the Bears' quarterback competition between Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles. Later, the crew replayed part of former Bears quarterback Erik Kramer's powerful interview on the Dan Bernstein Show in which he discussed a suicide attempt and the abuse he suffered from his ex-wife.
