God has promised to bring blessing to the world through Abram and his offspring by granting a land, and a nation of descendants who will ultimately reverse the curse of sin. Abram ‘believes God’ – and yet his actions sometimes say otherwise. It’s not until we follow the story through to Jesus that we find a fully faithful Israelite, who calls on us to join him in a faith that’s more than just words.
