Today’s guest is Jessica McLean, Director of Franchise Development for Franchise
FastLane and Soccer Stars.

Franchise Fastlane is an accelerated turn-key franchise sales organization. In
shortly over 6 years, they have impacted OVER 5,000 communities and changed
OVER 1,700 lives through franchise ownership!

One of Franchise FastLane’s brands is Soccer Stars. Soccer Stars' goal is to teach
soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment.

When asks how sports are related to education, Jessica says, “Soccer is the vehicle.
The fundamentals of the sport while having fun, but intertwined and ingrained in
the curriculum, are developmental lessons for kids about things like having self-
confidence about things communication, inclusion, self-respect and respect of
others.”

Regarding frequent issues potential franchisees make in the learning process,
Jessica says, “There are people out there that are visionaries who want to create
everything from scratch. There are also people who realize how difficult that is.”
Finally, commenting on the different models of ownership, Jessica states, “This is
something I’m very clear with everyone on when it comes to Soccer Stars.
Specifically, what semi-absentee and or executive ownership means. What it’s
going to mean for them and time commitment involved.”
