Do you get along with your mother-in-law?  Luckily most of us do, but there are some that refer to their mother-in-law as “monster-in-law.”  Listen in as we talk about some stories about the extremes mother-in-law’s will go to get their way, and how they will make the marriage difficult or unbearable, or simply do whatever suits them, darn the consequences.

Ever run into a person that you knew, maybe dated, perhaps almost married, and think “oh my” I’m glad I did not marry that person? In this episode we will discuss why some marriages are doomed to fail.  And as always we will discuss this with our own southern flair.

Why do some people keep all of their worldly possessions, jewelry, precious coins, and money in a secret place in or outside of their home?  Why not use a bank, safety deposit box, or safe?  Most of us do, but there are some that do not.  Some treasures are forgotten, and left for others to discover.  Some remain hidden today.  Some keep their worldly possessions with them with dire consequences.  We will discuss why people, to this day, refuse to keep their valuables in a banking institution for safe keeping.

It is reported that approximately 8.4 million people sleepwalk.  Even more talk in their sleep.  Some do funny outlandish things, only to discover this when they wake. Other sleepwalkers perform scary acts such as driving a car, call and text, and some even manage to kill.  But for the average sleep talker or sleepwalker, most incidents are harmless, perhaps a little embarrassing, and some bare all.

Ever been a victim of a practical joke?  Perhaps you have skillfully pulled off some of the best pranks ever on unsuspecting victims, friends, or family.  Who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh? Recently, the governor of Mississippi fail victim to a prank.  Listen in as we share with you several of our personal favorites.

How many times have you watched a TV show where one spouse murders the other?  Sometimes they prepare the best of plans and sometimes there is no plan at all, as in a crazy story out of Florida.  We will explore this story and discuss what drives someone to want to murder their spouse.  Sometimes the reasons are simply unbelievable.  Listen in as these two southerners provide insight and some humor as to what drives someone to this point.

Been on vacation lately?  Vacations can be so enjoyable.  They can make for wonderful memories that you will always cherish.  But sometimes they can be memories you would just soon forget.  Vacations can “go south” even with the best of plans.

Most of us will never admit that we take part in such things as gossiping, but we are all guilty.  Perhaps it’s part of our southern culture to pass along juicy rumors or so called told truths but the fact of the matter is we all gossip regardless of what region we live, what gender we are, are how old we might be.
