A Seattle concrete company wins a labor case as the U.S. Supreme Court rules 8-1 in the favor of Glacier Northwest. KVI's John Carlson explains how the ruling is a blow to labor unions after Glacier Northwest sued the Teamsters union because a strike was called while wet concrete was still inside their mixing trucks. In an additional plot twist, today's SCOTUS ruling reverses a previous decision in the case made by the Supreme Court of Washington (SCOW) that had sided with the union. State justices said the action was protected by federal labor law. The US Supreme Court ruled the Teamsters action did not.
