Scramble Bunkhouse Deathcast

After a brief one-week hiatus, the boys are back to talk about the pro wrestling equivalent of our podcast. Ethan, Cake, and Jom pontificate on the BJW Shopping District Brawl, a classic match that explains everything you need to know about the Japanese wrestler Kendo Nagasaki. We also take a deep dive into our artistic processes at the end of this one, along with our culinary preferences.

This week, Ethan, Cake, and Jom cover two backyard classics in under the amount of time they ran for.
That, plus a game of Build Your Perfect Backyard Wrestler, and so much more here to come on this episode of Scramble Bunkhouse Deathcast!

First guest on the podcast! On this episode of Scramble Bunkhouse Deathcast, Ethan, Cake, and Jom welcome Corey Bailey to the Bunkzone to discuss one of the all-time great War Games matches between Team Anarchy and The Devil's Rejects. We discuss the beauty of Southern wrestling, cartoonish violence, and why Shadow Jackson should have been the next great American ace.

In the ninth episode of the podcast, Ethan, Cake, and Jom cover one of lucha's greatest brawls-El Satanico versus Sangre Chicana. Yet another unhinged series of rants follow, along with the conclusion of Jom's game from last episode.

In our most unhinged episode yet, we finally get to Jomcore. We're here to discuss one of the greatest wrestlers in indie history a pioneer of the deathmatch genre, and the fattest highlighter you will ever see, Tarzan Goto.  Enjoy!

In our seventh episode of the Scramble Bunkhouse Drathcast, Cake, Ethan, and Jom talk about the show of the year (and potentially the decade), in ACTION DEAN~!!! We bring up the venue, how amazing it was to see so many of the all time great wrestling writers in one building, and Cake and Ethan try to relay what the experience was like in person to Jom.
Thank you to everyone who put this show together and everyone who wrestled on it!

The guys Ethan Jom and Cake get together once again to discuss pro wres in the way that we all know and love. In this episode, they take a look at a genuine watershed match, one that feels almost intimidating to talk about. It's a daunting task for any creator, but when the subject is this important, and this good? It has to be done.

A NOTE: The actual discussion of the match takes a while to get going. Jom and Ethan were a little late to the recording, but didn't want to hold up getting it started. Feel free to skip into the video if you just want to hear them and their iconic manner of speaking.
(originally released on April 1st, 2024)

Thanks to some unfortunate technical errors, Scramble Bunkhouse Deathcast IV was lost to the ether.
Today, we return to discuss one of the greatest matches in American pro wrestling history, Super Dragon versus Necro Butcher.
That, the chupacabra mentality, and a couple of games at the end, one of which will probably upset you deeply.
Our best-and potentially most unhinged-episode yet.

Ethan (@ethanmacncheese on Twitter), Jom (@maybejom on Twitter), and Cake (@fox_ball_whoa on Twitter) are here today to talk about Shinjiro Otani, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, his evolution, and his influence on the industry.

Ethan (@ethanmacncheese), Jom (@maybejom), and Cake (@fox_ball_whoa) talk about Samoa Joe vs. Homicide, Hobo Hank, and what it means to wrestle beyond your limitations.
