Connie Hanks is a mommy, wife, photographer, scrapbooker, crafter and volunteer-extraordinaire who never outgrew seeing the world as colorful as a fresh box of Crayola crayons! Her laid-back SoCal approach, along with her colorful Latin flavors, keep her projects fresh, vibrant and totally doable! She’s blessed to live with her “4-family” in beautiful San Diego; her loving husband Steve with whom she fell madly in love with at just 19 years old (many, many moons ago!), her 8- and 5-year-old daughters that are the stars of most of her scrapbook pages, and the growing menagerie of pets said daughters keep falling in love with and bringing home! She loves to dream, travel, play with her daughters, sing while her hubby plays guitar and rarely misses an opportunity to be behind the lens when she’s with family and friends. She started her blog Clicky Chick Creates in 2013 as a way to share her colorful view of the world, mostly through photos and crafts, sprinkled with lots of creative tips and tutorials!

Aside from being an elementary teacher, wife, and mom to two grown sons, Lisa is a passionate, lifelong crafter. In 1999, she met and fell in love with scrapbooking, and she’s been doing it in one form or another ever since. In 2008, she began teaching scrapbooking classes at local crops and eventually joined the design team at her local scrapbook store, where she still enjoys the privilege of playing with paper and sharing her creations with others. Go into your stash and pull together a kit of your favorite holiday products and lay it out on your workspace. When you get a few minutes do little steps of your project. Then sit down one afternoon and create an assembly line to complete your projects.

Hi I'm Jen Funk Weber! I learned to embroider about the time I learned to read. I also learned to sew, thanks to a crafty mother and an unattended sewing machine. Barbie clothes and furnishings were my first specialty.

As a member of the 4-H Sewing Club, I began designing clothes and crafts, cutting patterns from taped-together newspaper. I took up embroidery again while winter care-taking for remote lodges in Alaska. Ribbons won at the State Fair called attention to the designs and led to requests for patterns which led to Funk & Weber Designs. Together, my husband Mike and I create colorful (usually), playful patterns that bring together our love of nature, wildlife, puzzles, and subtleties.
